Well, it’s about time I jumped on the bandwagon. Or something like that. To catch you up to speed: this past summer, I made the trek up to Chicago to begin work for Emmis Interactive as a Web Designer. Here I stand, seven months later, a young designer who is fortunate enough to still love her job, coworkers, and freelance clients. Chicago’s pretty great too!
I’m not one who cares to start any endeavor without purpose, which is a partial reason to why I’ve put off starting this blog for so long. My aim for this space is to keep friends and family up-to-date and entertained with my latest happenings. It’s inevitable that stories about work will trickle into (or even dominate) this space. I’m a workaholic I love what I do; work is an unavoidable topic. I apologize in advance for boring you with rantings about all the geeky wonders that consume my day-to-day life!
