Design instructions were as follows: “[the client wants] something that is more in line with current web 2.0 standards—full screen that fits varying browser sizes, (regardless of settings), catchy homepage … user should see who and what they are within 20 seconds of viewing the site.”
My job was to fully design the site and then code out its framework, basic styling and sample content such that the client could easily and efficiently do their content build out. Several styling considerations were made, of note mirroring styling for both text- and image-based headings (knowing the client would be building out 14 chapters’ worth of information after all, although image-based headings were preferred).
It’s always interesting to see how closely a client is able to follow the coding practices you’ve put into place. Overall, APIC has done a lovely job!
